Introducing the Shady Grove Food Blessing Box
Shady Grove United Methodist Church is excited to launch a new outreach ministry to serve our community — the Shady Grove Food Blessing Box. This outdoor pantry is a simple but powerful way to share God’s love by providing food for our neighbors in need.
Members of the church and community are invited to help stock the box with non-perishable items such as canned goods, dry beans and pasta, rice, dry cereals and oatmeal, baby food, peanut and nut butters, granola bars, shelf-stable milk, cooking oil, canned meats, and more.
The box is open 24/7 for anyone in need to take what they need, no questions asked. We pray that this ministry will be a blessing to families facing food insecurity and a reminder that hope and help are never far away.

Come, Lord Jesus! Bless this pantry and all who take from it that they will be nourished in both body and spirit by these free gifts. We feed others, for what we do for the least of our neighbors, we do for you. Amen.
